Derek S. Parry
Founder & Managing Partner
Derek Parry is the founder and managing partner of Parry Law Group, a boutique corporate and transactional law firm serving as fractional general counsel for small businesses and startups. Prior to founding Parry Law Group, Derek clerked for the Honorable N. Randy Smith on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; practiced with the law firm Parr Brown Gee & Loveless with their M&A practice group; and worked as Vice President of Legal Product at SixFifty, the technology subsidiary of the law firm Wilson Sonsini. He currently chairs the Business Law Section of the Utah State Bar and serves on the board of directors for multiple charitable, educational, and artistic organizations. He holds a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as Managing Editor of the BYU Law Review.
